Franklin Announces FBEQ and FIBT Launch With Dividend-Funded Bitcoin Exposure
Franklin Templeton announced FBEQ and FIBT on October 29, saying both would list on Nasdaq. They start with 95% equity-index and 5% Bitcoin exposure, reinvesting equity dividends toward Bitcoin. FBEQ targets large US companies; FIBT targets large Nasdaq-listed nonfinancial US issuers. Bitcoin exposure is indirect, through an affiliated ETP and derivatives.

The launch announcement advances earlier registration-stage news. The initial 5% is not a permanent weight guarantee; equity concentration, Bitcoin volatility, costs and spreads still matter.
