- What is Prime Bonus?
Displayed in the page’s “Total Equity” section together with the principal when it is used as maintenance margin (as shown in the image below).
Total Equity = Account Principal + Prime Bonus used by the page usage ratio + ∑(Position UPnL) − ∑(Position Maintenance Margin)
Prime Bonus rule (usage-rate limit):
- The eligible amount is calculated based on the current usage-rate limit and position risk.
- Any amount above the eligible limit will not be used to maintain positions.
Please monitor Total Equity closely.
Liquidation condition:
If Total Equity ≤ 0:
- the related prime bonus will be reclaimedand
- and all active positions will be liquidated.
- How can I get the Prime Bonus?
- Usage Limits
- Cannot be used together with others type bonuses.
- Only 1 Prime Bonus can be in use at the same time.
- Before claiming, your account must have no open positions or pending orders. After claiming, it can be used for opening or adding to positions according to the rules.
- How to use Prime Bonus? After the user clicks “claim” in the Rewards Center, the Prime Bonus will appear in your perpetual contract wallet balance. When using it, it will be used to deduct perpetual contract trading fees at a certain ratio.
- How are losses / funding fees / liquidation & forced-closing fees handled? During the usage period, Prime Bonus does not deduct trading losses, funding fees, or liquidation/forced-closing fees in real time. It only shows the estimated deductible amount in “My Rewards” (see Figure 1). Only when the Prime Bonus becomes invalid and the Prime Bonus’s total positions are in a loss state will it be settled, deducted, and returned to the user’s perpetual futures wallet according to the corresponding ratio. The detailed deduction breakdown can be viewed in Orders → Perpetual Orders → Order History (see Figure 2).
- When will Prime Bonus become invalid?
- When the usage validity period expires
- When you transfer any funds from your contract account or withdraw (pending/claimable funds will also become invalid immediately and cannot be used)
- When you using this Prime Bonus and the account’s actual principal is fully lost and reduced to zero, and at that time the account has no open positions or pending orders.
- How is the Prime Bonus validity period calculated? Prime Bonus has both a “claim validity period” and a “usage validity period.” Please check the exact expiration time on the corresponding bonus page in “My Rewards.”
- Claim validity period: after the bonus is issued, it must be claimed within the claim validity period; otherwise it expires.
- Usage validity period: set according to the activity rules; it starts from the claim time and expires, after which the Prime Bonus becomes invalid.
- Expiry rules for Prime Bonus (when the usage period ends)
- If there are no pending orders and no positions at expiry: any unused Prime Bonus expires directly. Then the system starts calculating the profit/loss of all positions under that Prime Bonus. If in a loss state, it calculates the deductible losses/funding fees/liquidation & forced-closing fees and returns them to the user’s perpetual futures wallet.
- If there are pending orders or positions at expiry: the system automatically cancels any frozen Prime Bonus–related pending orders and invalidates the usable portion. For the positions part, you cannot open new positions. After you close the positions, the Prime Bonus tied to the expired positions will start being invalidated, and the system then calculates the profit/loss of all positions under that Prime Bonus. If in a loss state, it calculates the deductible losses/funding fees/liquidation & forced-closing fees and returns them to the user’s perpetual futures wallet.
- Fee calculation standard Trading fees, funding fees, and other charges are calculated according to the perpetual contract trading rules; whether the Prime Bonus participates in the verification does not change the basis for fee calculation.
- Withdrawal rules
- Prime Bonus is not withdrawable. As soon as any real funds are transferred/withdrawn, all Prime Bonus (including pending-to-claim) becomes invalid immediately and can no longer be used.
- Realized profits after closing positions are fully credited to the principal and are withdrawable.
