Strategy disclosed $65.5M of bitcoin purchases and $208.2M of STRC repurchases for October 26–November 1. Reported holdings reached 849,327 BTC.

Strategy’s November 2 filing shows that bitcoin accumulation and preferred-share repurchases continued together. During October 26–November 1, the company acquired 811 BTC for $65.5 million, at an average cost of $80,846 per bitcoin including fees and expenses. Reported holdings were 849,327 BTC as of November 1. The purchase average is a historical transaction figure, not a current market quote.

How the capital was allocated

Sales of MSTR common shares generated $164.0 million in net proceeds. Of this, $65.5 million funded bitcoin purchases and $98.5 million was allocated to USD Cash. Separately, Strategy used USD Cash to repurchase $208.2 million of STRC preferred shares. These repurchases are a different transaction from acquiring bitcoin.

OrangeX.com Analysis

In dollar terms, the disclosed STRC repurchases exceeded the bitcoin purchases. Our interpretation is that this update should be assessed as a capital-allocation decision, alongside share issuance and cash resources. A higher aggregate BTC balance alone does not establish improved backing per share or predict bitcoin’s price. Future filings will show whether this allocation pattern continues.
